Thanks everyone for the replies and plays, However number of plays has nothing to do with it. Some bands that had tens of thousands of plays didnt get into the finals. Songs were never judged by number of plays but were judged by a screening team...

Didn't think was harsh at all man, and I do agree with some of the points you made. Such as, the bass..I just threw that down on the fly didnt put much thought into it just wanted to hear some more bottom and play with tones and texture layering. ...
